HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
For a Safe & Hazard-free Working Environment
The objective of the Scientific Drilling International (SDI) Safety Policy is to implement a safe and hazard-free professional working environment through training, awareness, employee participation and attitude.
No safety system, even one defined by SDI’s safety manual, is perfect. In order to prevent injury and loss of property, each employee is personally involved and committed to the safety and well being of each of those around him, including our clients, contractors, subcontractors, and the general public.
While the safety manual is useful as a guide, nevertheless, the real safety program begins and ends with each of us.
Environmental Policy Statement
Minimizing Environmental Impact
Scientific Drilling International (SDI) is committed to conducting business in a manner which minimally impacts the environment.
All levels of management seriously examine the materials and processes used in the services provided by SDI. When any material or process is determined to pose an actual or potential detrimental effect on the environment, a practical, cost-effective solution shall be sought to eliminate it.
All management and employees of SDI work in full cooperation with authorities, oil company operators, and drilling contractors to ensure that environmental issues are addressed.
Implementation of this environmental policy shall be monitored and enforced as a part of the SDI regularly scheduled inspection and safety audit program.
