The SDI Quality Management System
An active and efficient quality management system is regarded by the company as essential in achieving these goals. Success of the quality system and policy is assured by the total support and involvement of the management. The quality system is regularly monitored and reviewed by management to ensure effectiveness is maintained and to implement improvements, as required.
Overall responsibility for quality is with the Vice-President of Quality Management System (VPQMS).
The QMS department is responsible for the implementation and management of the quality system in all areas of the company.
District Managers are responsible for ensuring customer quality and operational expectations are met.
In order to consistently provide a quality service, senior management recognizes the importance of employee awareness, and understanding, of quality requirements and responsibilities. As a result, a high priority has been given to employee training and skills development in all areas which affect quality of service. This priority applies to all employees, including managerial, field and support personnel.
A positive commitment and attitude is required from every member of staff to ensure an effective quality system is maintained.
